The opportunity

Due to our phenomenal growth we now have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager  to join our team. You will be responsible for managing a small team of 2 whilst also overseeing the day to day financial processes and reporting requirements of the Group. 

You will have the opportunity to design and implement processes that can improve the accuracy and efficiency of our reporting and future-proof these for a rapidly growing business. 

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy mentoring and developing others whilst assisting the Group Financial Controller in tasks relating to technical accounting, tax issues and playing a key role in the preparation and audit of the Financial Statements, we want to hear from you and will provide you with an environment you can develop and learn. 

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Ownership of the day to day accounting processes; including oversight of accounts payable,  accounts receivable and timely and accurate month-end close for your areas of responsibility
  • Improving processes, governance and controls as necessary in order to future-proof these processes as the company scales
  • Lead and develop the team of Finance Assistants
  • Support the cash flow management of the group, ensuring that appropriate treasury controls and working capital management is in place and adhered to.
  • Support the preparation of the year-end Financial Statements and audit and act as the primary point of contact for audit testing
  • Support the day to day taxation affairs of the group e.g. VAT, US sales tax, payroll taxes, R&D tax claim.

  • Strong technical ability with good financial and commercial acumen and be able to produce accurate and timely accounting information

  • Have excellent Excel skills, and the ability to draw upon information from various sources
  • Excellent communication skills to partner and build relationships with colleagues inside and outside of finance

The opportunity

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for managing all finance elements of the cost base of the business, and for designing and implementing processes that can improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting and are future-proofed for a rapidly growing business. In addition, the Management Accountant will act as a bridge between the Financial Reporting & FP&A teams, ensuring that any variances to forecasted spend is understood and explained, and will be required to manage stakeholders both within and outside of the Finance team.

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Overall management of the cost base of the business
  • Managing the calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments, making process improvements as necessary in order to future-proof these processes as the company scales
  • Managing the payroll, taxes and pension postings for 15+ payrolls
  • Managing the recharge of costs between entities and working with the Group FC to ensure transfer pricing rules are adhered to
  • Working with the FP&A team to implement and manage regional & segmental reporting across our cost-base, including setting up and managing an allocation model for all overhead costs
  • Liaising with finance and non-finance stakeholders and providing timely and accurate information
  • Assisting with preparing the annual accounts and audit testing in relation to areas of responsibility
  • Continued development of the finance systems, processes and controls
  • Other ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as required

 

What do I need to apply?​​ You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified
  • Experience managing a cost base in a commercial environment and ability to design and implement process improvements
  • Have excellent technical accounting skills and be able to produce accurate and timely accounting information
  • Have had exposure to multi-currency accounting; transfer pricing and intercompany allocation
  • Have excellent Excel skills, and the ability to draw upon information from various sources
  • Excellent communication skills to partner and build relationships with colleagues inside and outside of finance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail, be logical and able to multi-task

Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - Go-to market / Sales

Due to our continued growth we’re looking for a Senior / Lead Talent Acquisition Partner in Boston, MA, you’ll join the global People and Talent Team and help scale business-critical go to market departments including, Sales, Marketing & Customer success across North America. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and as part of the global TA team, This is initially the sole TA position in North America however we’ll grow the team as the business grows. You’ll spend most of your time partnering with senior stakeholders to find and assess exceptional GTM talent through direct sourcing, events, and recruitment marketing activities. 

To be successful you will have previous recruitment experience for Senior Sales or other go to market positions gained in agency, RPO or internally and be passionate about building diverse high performing teams. You will need to be present in our Boston office weekly to build relationships with the senior leadership team and participate in recruitment events in Boston. 

Successful recruitment is one of the keys behind Immersive Labs success and we need you to help find world-class people that can change the face of cyber security.
