Back-End Developer - Ruby

Due to growth, we seek a bright and enthusiastic Back End Developer with knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RESTful APIs and object-oriented design. You will focus on code which supports the needs of the front end application written in React, a basic understanding of Javascript and React would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for developing a truly ground breaking product. You'll get to work in a friendly multi-disciplinary agile team and also work on innovative ideas one day a fortnight in our 10% time.

 

Your main responsibilities:

You'll get to immerse yourself in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. We want to give you a place where you'll learn from us and we'll learn from you through getting involved in the following:

  • Formulate technical solutions from product requirements in collaboration with others to create a first class platform
  • Design, build and maintain an efficient, reusable and reliable codebase 
  • Maintaining good test coverage over all aspects of the codebase by performing unit tests and integration tests
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs in back-end code, and devise solutions to these problems to minimise customer impact
  • Translate technical language/concepts for non-technical individuals written and orally 
  • Be actively involved in all team ceremonies, 2-week sprints and retrospectives, working closely with product managers and other disciplines
  • Work closely with the front end developers; our front end applications are developed in JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3

Success in this role will depend most on your approach, underlying skills and potential for growth, even if some of the above would be new to you. You should apply if you have:

  • Demonstrable and up-to-date knowledge with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, APIs (GraphQL or REST), and object-oriented design. 
  • Any experience with AWS or Kubernetes is an advantage 
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system and create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Proficient understanding of Git and familiarity with CI setups

The opportunity 

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing, global Marketing team at Immersive Labs.

As the Customer Marketing Manager you will be influential in developing and delivering engaging customer marketing initiatives and campaigns. Your goal is to digitally nurture customers' adoption within the platform while increasing customer advocacy and building a community of fanatic brand advocates. 

You’ll be customer-obsessed and creative, with exceptional communication skills, collaborating with other departments to absorb customer feedback, spot opportunities to increase renewals, create fantastic customer experiences, and support business objectives. 

This is an incredible opportunity to play a part in building customer marketing for this new category of Cyber Workforce Resilience, helping the Cyber industry and enterprise organisations understand a brand-new class of cyber risk reduction and workforce readiness. 


Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Design and deliver digital nurturing programs that drive deeper product awareness and adoption throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Find ways to increase engagements, collections and exercise completions within our platform for the existing customer base.
  • Ownership of stakeholder engagement and project completions from beginning to end to ensure the organisation is aware of upcoming launches.
  • Support customer marketing and communication programs such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, conferences,user groups, awards programs, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer renewals, referrals, cross-sell, and upsell, and ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Identify, create and maintain a library of customer success stories

Customer Success Manager

Cyber Crisis Simulation Lead

This isn’t just any old Cyber Security role. We know a lot of people will put fingers to keyboards and pop this in their job ads, but we really mean it!

Immersive Labs Crisis Simulation product marries incident response with engaging scenarios that emulate real-life decision making, forcing C-Level Execs, Management and Technical Leads to work together to make it out the other side of a cyber crisis with business (and reputation) intact - and now you can be part of the story as we scale and expand the product!

Due to the growth of our Organizational Exercising and Resilience team, we are seeking an experienced, creative and driven individual to join us as a Cyber Crisis Simulation Lead.

This role is integral to the growth of Immersive Lab’s Crisis Sim offering, providing a catalogue of crisis simulations that resonate for the world's largest organizations and cover a range of maturity levels, threats and vectors.

You will work with the Organizational Exercising Product / Engineering team to maintain our market position and create content that appeals to the C-suite right through to Technical Incident Response Teams and enable us to convert potential customers at demo.

You will support Immersive Lab’s Professional Services and/or Partners pipeline by building template Crisis Sims and supporting enablement materials (how and why).

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Develop the catalogue of Crisis Sim scenarios covering different client maturity levels (i.e. beginners to advanced) across multiple sectors and vectors.

  • Provide leadership and support the Organizational Exercising Principal in the planning and ongoing maintenance of an organizational exercising roadmap that supports the needs of IL clients and can quickly adapt to cover relevant / recent incidents with support from the wider IL organization.

  • Understand custom Crisis Sim briefs and deliver on time and in full to customers at the required quality level.

  • Champion quality content and provide constructive feedback to peers as part of the TQA process. 

  • Build content with the end user experience at the forefront.

  • Collaborate with other Content teams to create cross-role exercises.

  • Identify gaps in the market and support the Product Director in prioritizing solutions that best position IL within the wider competitor landscape.

  • Identify areas of technical debt and/or uplift within the content.

  • Research Crisis Sim trends, remaining at the forefront of industry events.

  • Support senior team members with customer events and calls, leading these where relevant and support and mentor junior members of the  team.

  • Experience of running crisis management / incident response processes and/or the development and facilitation of crisis management /incident responses exercises.

  • Familiarity with Business continuity planning frameworks (such as ISO or an organizations specific policy and standards)  including business impact assessment planning and disaster recovery

  • Communication and presentation skills - ability to confidentially facilitate an exercises to large audiences, can adjust presentation style to appropriately engage different audiences

  • Experience of working in an agile environment, responding appropriately to changing priorities, proactively managing competing demands, and working at pace to meet objectives and deliver quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrable experience of working with large, global or government organizations (in any capacity); familiar with how to navigate complex organizations and enterprise-level organizational structures.

Cybersecurity Team Manager

Are you a driven and motivated people leader with a background in cybersecurity? Are you an agile individual able to collaborate with stakeholders and team members to deliver projects in a timely manner?

Then come and join us as a Cybersecurity Team Manager, working within our Cyber Content team.

High-performing teams are the key to Immersive Labs rapid growth - You will support the day-to-day operations and delivery of our cyber content team in line with our quality standards. You will work closely with our product owners, helping to ensure the delivery of content aligns with the strategic vision of the product and roadmap. You will also interact with the product and engineering teams to ensure effective delivery of content being created as well as line managing staff. .

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

As a Cybersecurity Team Manager you will delegate and assign work to teams and individuals. You will shape an inclusive environment with a strong collaborative culture and lead on the line management of our content team engineers by mapping their career development, conducting regular 121s and identifying training programs and requirements.

You will proactively identify and deliver projects to improve the Cyber Content’s team ways of working and delivery of the Company vision.

Other responsibilities would include;

  • Responsible for the tactical and operational planning and content delivery of the team, helping to ensure that it aligns with the roadmap we have set out
  • Support Agile ceremonies including; Sprint planning, Sprint reviews, and Sprint retrospectives
  • Partner with other managers and sub-teams to understand performance, identify growth bottlenecks and enablers
  • Help design, implement, and maintain internal performance management framework and overall company KPI framework 
  • Assist in the delivery of metrics and data to calculate ROI of each team and analyze team performance, pain points and quality issues

Director of FP&A 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our FP&A function. In this role you will be influential in defining the FP&A priorities, ensuring that stakeholders have the most up to date and accurate information to drive key decisions within the business and support us with our growth journey.   

You will be responsible for managing a team of 2 whilst also overseeing the Annual Operating Plan process. You will own the company’s FP&A tools and will have the opportunity to develop and refine our FP&A processes.

There are 10 of us in the finance department and we’re all in our amazing Bristol office at least once a week.

If you are passionate about leading a team and creating strong stakeholder relationships then this could be the opportunity for you to step up and make a real lasting impact within a growing cyber organisation.   

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Working with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis
  • Support stakeholders to make data driven decisions 
  • Monitor key performance indicators across all areas - highlighting trends and identifying causes of unexpected variances
  • Manage the FP&A team to achieve delivery of all FP&A goals 
  • Own the full Annual Operating Plan process 
  • Own the Company’s FP&A tool, Workday Adaptive Planning  
  • Prepare monthly internal reporting and quarterly reporting for the Board

  • Be a fully qualified accountant.

Whilst pursuing CISOs and other senior leadership across the Cybersecurity department to solve their biggest challenge, the skills gap in Cyber you will have the support of marketing, pre-sales, channel sales and customer success to achieve your goals.

You will be focused on the New York enterprise market looking to onboard large Fortune 500 customer accounts, you will then retain ownership of these flagship accounts to grow the presence & value of Immersive Labs within them.

Whilst pursuing CISOs and other senior leadership across the Cybersecurity department to solve their biggest challenge, the skills gap in Cyber you will have the support of marketing, presales, channel sales and customer success to achieve your goals. 

 

As one of the senior individual contributors in sales, your main responsibilities will include (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Creating and executing the sales strategy for your territory
  • Winning large-scale enterprise business (Fortune 500 / FTSE 250 / Global 2000) that’ll have a direct impact on Immersive Labs’ success

Junior Application Security Engineer - Bristol

Due to unprecedented growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Application Security Engineer to join our fast growing Content Engineering team.

You will write deliberately vulnerable web applications and create practical immersive hands on labs to help us educate software developers around the world on how to fix vulnerabilities in their code and create more secure applications.

In 2020 we launched Secure Coding - this exciting addition to our market-leading platform teaches developers how to write secure code. We are creating labs that take our users from the basics of writing a secure application avoiding the standard OWASP pitfalls through to building secure public cloud-hosted web apps.

In this role, you will be a key member of our internal Application Security content team, contributing to the creation of secure coding labs and research that our community and customers will devour.

This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for developing a truly ground breaking product. If you want to have a large impact and contribute more than just your time, this could be the role for you - we value determination, ingenuity, collaboration and an understanding that unique products require unique technical solutions.

You'll get to work in a friendly multi-disciplinary agile team and also work on innovative ideas one day a fortnight in our 10% time which allows you to pursue personal projects and research or collaborate with your peers to innovate and have fun doing it!

  • Develop secure coding labs in multiple languages

Sales Development Representative - MENA

In this position you will be part of the sales team interfacing closely with marketing to develop new sales opportunities. Your ability to clearly articulate a company’s value proposition, demonstrate products, create and implement a dynamic and effective sales strategy while managing your time effectively will be the key to your success. 

This is a role for someone who is hungry, willing to learn and grow into a world class technology sales executive. If you have the work ethic, confidence and commitment to be a top sales executive, we will give you the tools, the time, and the training to become one.

Lead Application Security Engineer 

Due to unprecedented growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Lead  Application Security Engineer to join our fast growing Content Engineering team.

You will write deliberately vulnerable web applications for Immersive Labs and help us educate developers around the world on how to fix vulnerabilities in their code and create more secure applications.

In 2020 we launched Secure Coding - this exciting addition to our market-leading platform teaches developers how to write secure code. We are creating labs that take our users from the basics of writing a secure application avoiding the standard OWASP pitfalls through to building secure public cloud-hosted web apps.

In this role, you will be a key influence within our internal Application Security content team, helping to define and then lead on delivery of our Secure Coding roadmap of content and research that our community and customers will devour.

This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for developing a truly ground breaking product. If you want to have a large impact and contribute more than just your time, this could be the role for you - we value determination, ingenuity, collaboration and an understanding that unique products require unique technical solutions.

Product Manager - Associate

Are you passionate about creating great products that users love to use and have a strong business acumen to help you prioritise?

 

As an Associate Product Manager you will learn product management techniques and thought processes whilst being fully supported by a more senior Product Manager / Director and wider Product team.

Sales Development Team Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Development Manager that will develop, coach, train and hire a highly driven team of individuals early in their careers to become world-class sales development professionals. The Sales Development Team is one of the first interactions our prospective customers have with Immersive Labs and is a key driver of our success. 

This is a highly visible role in the organisation and you will have the opportunity to build and develop the SDR team, and be an integral part of their development and growth. We are eager to speak with you if you are one who leads by example and has an open, collaborative leadership style. 

 If you have proven success in managing and building a team to achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual goals as well as a passion for marketing and sales alignment, this is the role for you!

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Hire, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to master skills across sales development including cold calling, territory planning, positioning Immersive Labs (IL) solutions, outbound prospecting and business acumen.
  • Take ownership of the Immersive Sales Matrix to drive training curriculum for SDR team and ensure each team member has a career development plan in place.
  • Manage day to day activities of SDR team including KPI attainment, development areas, live coaching, call statistics, conversions and pipeline build.
  • Have a maniacal focus on outcomes and metrics- everything from dials per day, conversion rates to opportunities, handoff to sales and close rates- with the aim to increase SDR productivity to increase the qualified sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with sales managers and account executives to ensure proper alignment on meeting quality, workflow (handoff process), development areas and promotion eligibility.
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvements around the process, efficiency and productivity of the business development team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment on campaigns, SLA adherence and feedback on results from specific campaigns/cadences.

Sales Engineer - MENA

You will be joining a growing and high performing team in the Middle East and North Africa region as a Sales Engineer in the region to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.

Your focus will be on the customers at the top end of the Enterprise market in both the private and government sector.  You will play a critical role in taking the CISOs or Heads of Cybersecurity divisions in these large customers through a technical platform demonstration addressing any concerns or questions on new cyber threats as well as progressing the sale. 

The role is critical to Immersive Labs both to grow our presence in a fast growing territory as well as helping the product evolve to the specific needs of customers in MENA by gathering feedback to share with the Engineering and Product teams. 

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • You will partner with the MENA sales team to provide technical expertise of the Immersive Labs Cyber Workforce Resilience platform with both new and existing customers. 
  • Running in-depth solution demonstrations and managing proof-of-concepts with the C-level and senior cybersecurity leadership will be an integral part of your role. 
  • You will be required to throw yourself into the Cybersecurity community to remain informed of evolving threats, trends, and new technologies 
  • We are all one team at Immersive labs so being able to collaborate with the teams in product, content and engineering as the expert in the Cybersecurity landscape across MENA and influence product innovation.

We are looking for a technically savvy Senior Customer Success Manager with a strong drive for results. This position is designed for a CSM who has keen observation, focuses on details, and strives for Customer Success and satisfaction. 

As a Customer Success Team member, you are responsible for retaining, building, and growing the current customer base. You will be instrumental in creating long-lasting partnerships and responsible for driving positive outcomes.

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Perform customer onboarding and ensure  we are providing our customers with the best experience
  • Implement a communications strategy that maintains high customer satisfaction.
  • Execute account strategies for each customer and deliver positive and measurable outcomes for the clients.
  • Efficiently plan and prioritize customer activities and follow up in a timely fashion.
  • Work with Immersive Labs' go-to-market and product teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Hold customer success reviews and resolve concerns with the assistance of internal teams.
  • Escalate and resolve day-to-day issues or customer dissatisfaction with the appropriate internal teams.
  • Understand customer needs and act as the voice of the customers internally.
  • Identify expansion, upsell and cross-sell opportunities and partner with sales to close deals.
  • Work with Immersive Labs’ technical and operational teams to develop customer advocacy and ensure the best customer satisfaction.

Senior Customer Success Manager

Customer Success can mean so many things, the essence of our Customer Success team is customer obsession. Integrations Consultant

We’re looking for an Integrations Consultant to join our growing Global Professional Services team. The Integrations Consultant will interface with customers and internal teams to consult, design, develop, and implement integrations with 3rd party applications to meet defined technical requirements, use-cases, and desired outcomes. You will be responsible for leveraging the Immersive Labs platform’s data sources, customer and vendor documentation, and your skills to become a subject matter expert and make an immediate impact within the Integrations Consulting team.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Consult and advise creative solutions that meet customers’ technical requirements, use-cases, and desired outcomes for 3rd party integrations with the Immersive Labs platform
  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain custom integrations satisfying customer specifications
  • Collaborate with product, content, and engineering teams to serve as the voice of the customer and influence product and services innovation
  • Partner with GTM and product leadership to prioritize the development and delivery of integrations based on demand and impact
  • Immerse into the cyber security community to remain informed of trends and new technologies 

 

To be successful:

  • 3+ years work experience in back-end engineering or software development
  • Proficiency in multiple coding, scripting, and data query languages - for example, the likes of PHP, Ruby, Javascript, Bash, Powershell, Python, SQL or GraphQL
  • Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux operating systems, iPaaS tools (e.g. Workato, Mulesoft, GoAnywhere), GIT, and Docker
  • Authoritative knowledge of SDLC, API frameworks, and security best practices
  • Relevant customer facing experience is an advantage (e.g. consulting, technical support)

The Opportunity

The Customer Success team at Immersive Labs acts as the trusted advisor and advocate, building and growing an ongoing healthy relationship with each customer. Team members are responsible for implementing our software, preserving our current business, opening doors for additional opportunities, and growing our customers into life-long Immersive Labs advocates. 

As a VP of Customer Success, you will work closely with our Sales Leadership and the SVP Customer Experience in establishing a strategy for the Customer Success organisation and create a highly repeatable processes that will allow us to scale. Our customers are the largest of large enterprises and government organizations, and our contract values are equally large. We are expanding rapidly in EMEA and APAC, with an established customer base on several teams in the territory. As a result, we need you to lead a growing Customer Success organisation of CSMs responsible for partnering with executives at large companies to optimize their workforce’s cybersecurity capabilities. 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Develop the strategy, build, lead and scale a growing customer success team, ensuring an excellent customer experience and that outcomes meet customer goals
  • Manage our CSM team and middle managers and be responsible for the delivery of successful customer engagements that drive value and ROI of their Immersive Labs program
  • Hire, enable, coach, and develop your team of high performing CSMs to align with individual, team, and company goals
  • Execute analysis of customer health and structure measurable KPIs to drive satisfaction, adoption, retention, product implementation and adoption and reduce churn
  • Partner with Go-to-Market and Product leaders to improve the overall customer experience
  • Partner closely with Product to offer an ever-evolving feedback loop to deliver increasing value to our existing and future customers
  • Analyze customer performance data to optimize team performance, enhance customer experience and retention rates, and drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth
  • Design and launch critical programs to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Improve upon our existing approaches to customer engagement and account management
  • Strategize on the organization structure and resources as we scale
