The opportunity

As part of our rapid growth, you have the chance to be the first Account Based Marketing Manager (ABM) at Immersive Labs, joining a group of highly collaborative and driven marketers and reporting to Tarah our VP of Marketing based in Boston. 

You’ll work closely with the Go to market team to drive the development and execution of a measurable, high-impact Account Based Marketing strategy to successfully engage international target accounts, leading to the generation of qualified pipeline opportunities for the sales teams. 

Ideally you will have experience with ABM technologies (we use Terminus) and tactics to successfully engage enterprise accounts, generate pipelines and move them effectively through the buyer's journey. 

 It’s an exciting time to join as we rapidly grow, this is a chance to define and deliver ABM Campaigns and strategy as you see fit with lots of autonomy and opportunity to rapidly progress your career at an exciting scaleup in the cyber security & learning industry. 

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Define ABM strategy and execution plans, encompassing multiple ABM tools and technologies.
  • Understand the buyers within enterprise accounts – pain points, demographics, and how they buy.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, SDR and Account Executive teams to develop a high touch marketing strategy with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline for Enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams on campaign concept, content requirements, buyer’s journey development, and digital marketing execution to ensure effectiveness execution.
  • Manage program budgets.
  • Analyze data to monitor the success of programs and optimize activities based on data-driven findings and present to leadership team

 

To be successful:

  • Demonstrable experience in B2B Technology marketing, 
  • Track record of driving successful Global ABM campaigns
  • Expertise with CRM’s, marketing automation and ABM platforms (SFDC, Hubspot, Salesloft and Terminus)
  •  Effective project management skills; interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  •  Good analytical skills with an understanding of key metrics

Write deliberately vulnerable web applications for Immersive Labs and help us educate developers around the world on how to fix vulnerabilities in their code and create more secure applications. 

At Immersive Labs, we’ve just launched our latest offering - Secure Coding. This exciting new addition to our market-leading platform teaches developers how to write secure code. We are creating labs that take our users from the basics of writing a secure application avoiding the standard OWASP pitfalls through to building secure public cloud-hosted web apps.

The first set of secure coding labs are live and loved by our users, we are now looking to expand our offering to drive this forward! 

As an Application Security Engineer you will develop labs, games & challenges teaching all aspects of Application Security to improve the security posture of organisations globally. 

You will work closely with the wider cybersecurity and engineering teams to develop and deliver cutting edge labs focused on Application Security. 


Your main responsibilities:

  • Plan, write and improve application security labs, challenges and online learning content on the Immersive Labs platform
  • Produce multi-format content utilising various teaching methods; practical exercises, questions & gamification
  • Test and review application security labs to ensure they function as expected
  • Communicate with the Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products and how best to deploy them
  • Learn about new technologies independently and apply them to your work and to improve the team's work
  • Participate in Kanban teams and adapt quickly to changing requirements

 

To be successful:

  • Proven track record in software development
  • Knowledge of Linux environments
  • Knowledge of application security associated tooling such as SAST and DAST scanners

  • Help develop a set of resources to help users understand the vulnerabilities for each lab and how to mitigate them
  • Help develop an automated set of tests that can verify that the user has fixed a given vulnerability
  • Understand the learning process for software developers to challenge and teach them through Immersive Labs

To be successful:

  • Software Development knowledge of backend web development technologies such as Python, Ruby, Node, PHP, or Java
  • Desire and passion to learn about secure coding practices
  • Interest in writing theory and online learning content about programming, secure coding, IT/Computing and/or Cyber would be an advantage
  • Any experience developing in other languages would be beneficial
  • An understanding of the OWASP Top 10 Web application risks would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Linux and Docker 
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills

This is a new opportunity to join the Experience Design team as an Associate Product Designer. You’ll develop attractive, modern and easy to use design for our game-changing platform. You will aim to ensure that all users have an outstanding experience and positive user journey throughout their time on our platform. 

Your designs will help to increase user engagement and further enhance users' experience of developing their cyber skills.

Working closely with our Director of Experience Design and reporting to our Lead Product designer you’ll need to possess fundamental UI and digital design skills; have a passion for interaction design and an understanding of how to collaborate with others involved in the user-centred design process. 

If you are intrigued by our culture and eager to work with a team of iterative, globally-based colleagues who have varying viewpoints and you are excited about making design decisions impacting the product, and proposing changes to improve the experience for our target audience. We will welcome your different points of view and appreciate your ideas and contributions.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding user experience through exceptional and intuitive application design.
  • Design gamified labs to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non cyber literate users 
  • Make use of Immersive’ Design System to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Iterating on existing ideas and identifying gaps where new design system components could be created. 
  • Collaborating with the Director of Experience Design, UX Consultants, Product Designers, Content Engineers, Product managers and the engineering team to create beautiful, useful and functional digital products which exceed user expectations. 
  • Executing all visual design stages from concept to implementation
  • Exploring possible design solutions through low fidelity sketching and wireframing
  • Articulate and justify design decisions to peers and stakeholders

To be successful:

  • Experience working with modern design tools, we use Figma
  • Capable of exploring possible design solutions for screens within a journey, producing high fidelity concepts, taking into account UX Design outputs
  • Able to artwork and iterate on illustration concepts within existing guidelines
  • Good understanding of current UI design practices to create an efficient & seamless user-experience
  • A passion for user interface design and understanding of UX processes
  • Able to take on board constructive feedback from peers and identify potential changes

As an Engineer at Immersive Labs you will get to grow your skills in a company that's also growing. An enthusiastic engineer will be able to contribute new ideas that will help improve the way we work as we scale whilst learning from our awesome Senior Engineers.

You'll get to work in a friendly multi-disciplinary agile team and also work on innovative ideas one day a fortnight in our 10% time.

Your main responsibilities (which is essentially where we get boring and list some of the things you will be doing, and are also likely to change as we scale):
You'll get to immerse yourself in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. We want to give you a place where you'll learn from us and we'll learn from you through getting involved in the following:

  • Formulate technical solutions from product requirements in collaboration with others to create a first class platform
  • Design, build and maintain an efficient, reusable and reliable codebase 
  • Maintaining good test coverage over all aspects of the codebase by performing unit tests and integration tests
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs in back-end code, and devise solutions to these problems to minimise customer impact
  • Translate technical language/concepts for non-technical individuals written and orally 
  • Be actively involved in all team ceremonies, 2-week sprints and retrospectives, working closely with product managers and other disciplines
  • Work closely with the front end developers; our front end applications are developed in JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3

To be successful you will have (so please make sure it is on your CV):

  • Demonstrable and up-to-date knowledge with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, APIs (GraphQL or REST), and object-oriented design. 
  • Any experience with AWS or Kubernetes is an advantage 
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system and create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Proficient understanding of Git and familiarity with CI setups

Are you a Business Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about getting information from a variety of sources into an easy to digest format?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our fast growing data team working closely with finance, revenue operations and marketing teams. You will develop our internal suite of reports and dashboards using cutting edge data technologies. 

The work you do will contribute to driving Immersive labs growth and empowering decision makers with the information and insights they need. 

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implementation of a suite of internal reporting which will include a mixture of marketing, finance and sales data
  • Be the subject matter expert on internal reporting
  • Work closely with the Strategic Director to build a set of metrics to monitor business performance
  • Understand limitations in the data and work with others to resolve these limitations.
  • Identify and address any data quality issues
  • Answer adhoc questions about the reporting and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure our models are robust and optimally trained
  • Communicate clearly and openly with stakeholders to ensure we are a data-driven organisation

 

To be successful you will have:

  • Knowledge of database technologies and data structures. 
  • Experience in using at least one data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, you should be confident joining tables and doing manipulations in SQL
  • Strong communication skills, able to interpret requirements and make suggestions for improvement
  • Strong delivery skills with the ability to work well under pressure in an Agile environment

 

Desirable: 

  • Experience with cloud databases
  • Experience of working with Finance & Marketing teams
  • Knowledge with our tech stack Stitch, Looker, Snowflake and DBT.
  • Interest and passion in Cybersecurity

The opportunity
We haven’t had a BI Analyst before, and we have discovered that we really do need one! So you are likely to be as in demand as the COVID vaccine. You will find members of Immersive Labs fighting for a piece of your expertise, but fear not, we will give you some time to get to know our internal processes and you will be supported by Emma, our Director of Data Science, Analytics and Insights (who has a strange obsession with buses), and Olivia, our Director of Strategy and Business Operations (who is just about to start with us, but we suspect isn’t as obsessed with buses).

You need to be able to build a suite of reports for our internal teams (sales, operations, marketing - to name a few), but also be a whiz at creating dashboards to visually entice your stakeholders to be as equally passionate about business insights as you are.

The boring bit that tells you what you will actually be doing, but likelihood is that this will change up a bit once you start:

  • Develop and implement of a suite of internal reporting which will include a mixture of marketing, finance and sales data

An overview:

This is a new opportunity to join the Cloud Operations Team at Immersive Labs. You’ll support the platform delivery teams and our unique Kubernetes implementation across multiple AWS environment working closely with Security and Development teams and participating in architecting and building systems for maximum performance, reliability and scalability. Ultimately, be passionate about eliminating repetitive work, Automation & Self-service are terms you will live and breathe every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in architecting and building systems for maximum performance, reliability and scalability
  • Work with the Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products and how best to deploy them

  • Build and maintain a secure DevOps lifecycle, with continuous improvement to meet evolving application and compliance requirements.

To be Successful:

  • Knowledge of production-critical infrastructures and Cloud environments along with Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem
  • Familiar with containerisation, specifically using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of Serverless technologies and infrastructure automation and deployment, we use (Terraform and Cloud formation)
  • Understanding of cloud monitoring tools
  • Hands-on experience with software development, cloud infrastructure, IT services, networking, and security best practices
  • A commitment to scripting, particularly Python
  • Experience working within an DevOps, Cloud or SRE function, with a focus on availability, reliability and automation

The opportunity
This isn’t an ordinary cloud role, we know everyone claims this and will tell you their role is super unique. But this one really is. You are constantly researching, learning, totally geeking out on all things cloud security related, from Kubernetes to AWS, and then taking that knowledge and creating labs. You will be educating the world of cloud security professionals on how to make sure they are secure in what they do. Now that is a pretty cool legacy to leave behind.

No more 4am call outs. No more working over Christmas. Just upskilling yourself to be tremendously knowledgeable and sharing that knowledge of best practice with the world. 

Your main responsibilities (the boring part where we bullet out key duties):

  • Planning, writing and improving cloud security labs, challenges and online learning content on the Immersive Labs platform
  • Produce multi-format content utilising various teaching methods; practical exercises, questions & gamification
  • Test Cloud Security labs to ensure they function as expected
  • Work with the Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products and how best to deploy them

To be successful (be a good idea to make sure this is on your CV):

  • Proven track record of working in production-critical infrastructures and Cloud environments with a security focus
  • Extensive knowledge in the AWS or Azure ecosystem including expertise with security, identity  & access

The opportunity

Due to our rapid growth in North America we’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to work closely with our central region sales team in a technical pre sales capacity and help solve challenging problems for clients. You’ll help customers understand the technical parts of our award-winning platform, engaging with senior stakeholders and end users to support product demo's proof of concepts, events and hackathons. 

To be successful you’ll need to know cyber security or ethical hacking inside out and be passionate about customer success or pre-sales. 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Engage with sales teams and partner with customers to understand their needs, define requirements and demo the technical aspects of the platform
  • Meet with prospective customers, to understand their technical requirements 
  • Plan and manage product proof of concept efforts
  • Drive user adoption across a variety of use cases 
  • Help upskill new staff on the technical aspects of the platform and on cyber security in general
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce multi-format content utilising various teaching methods; written, exercises, questions and gamification.

To be successful:

  • Experience in ethical hacking/pen testing, cyber security or threat intelligence 
  • Demonstrated success in a pre-sales or customer-facing role 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel and clients.
  • Be able to use learning objectives to achieve understanding
  • Coding experience would be a plus (i.e. Python etc)

The opportunity
One of our analysts is moving into specialising in Analytics Engineering (that’s right, we love a bit of career development), and so, quite simply, we need to replace him.

You will be helping to define how we evidence customer readiness to protect themselves from a nasty cyber attack, and you will have a key impact into our Immersive intelligence roadmap. I mean it does sound impressive doesn’t it? 

The role is based within a fast paced organisation, we are scaling up, so there comes a lot of ambiguity, moving of goal posts and requests for things quickly. But that also means you get heaps of autonomy, the ability to genuinely influence, and work for a boss who is obsessed with buses (she really is).


Your main responsibilities (which is essentially where we get boring and list some of the things you will be doing, that are also likely to change as we scale):

  • Be the data business partner for a data functions
  • Develop predictive models to draw insight from our data
  • Adhoc analysis of our data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Mine large & growing volumes of data including from 3rd party tech vendors
  • Find actionable insights to inform ongoing improvements and strategy
  • Inform our product roadmap from a data perspective
  • Ensure our we can depend on our data insights with a scientific basis
  • Communicate clearly and openly with stakeholders to ensure we are a data-driven organisation
  • Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

To be successful you will have (so please make sure it is on your CV):

  • A strategic, inquisitive and innovative mindset with the ability to anticipate customer needs, interpret requirements and deliver consistently high-quality output
  • Strong commercial awareness able to spot opportunities to use data and build appropriate data models

Write deliberately vulnerable web applications for Immersive Labs and help us educate developers around the world on how to fix vulnerabilities in their code and create more secure applications. 

At Immersive Labs, we’ve just launched our latest offering - Secure Coding. This exciting new addition to our market-leading platform teaches developers how to write secure code. We are creating labs that take our users from the basics of writing a secure application avoiding the standard OWASP pitfalls through to building secure public cloud-hosted web apps.

The first set of secure coding labs are live and loved by our users, we are now looking to expand our offering to drive this forward! 


Your main responsibilities:

  • Help develop a set of resources to help users understand the vulnerabilities for each lab and how to mitigate them
  • Help develop an automated set of tests that can verify that the user has fixed a given vulnerability
  • Understand the learning process for software developers to challenge and teach them through Immersive Labs

  • Software Development knowledge of backend web development technologies such as Python, Ruby, Node, PHP, or Java

You will play an important part in giving certainty to the platform security, stability and availability. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in architecting and building systems for maximum performance, reliability and scalability
  • Work with the Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products

The opportunity
Our data team is growing pretty fast. At Immersive Labs, data is on fleek, and our team is so highly in demand we need someone to support with the plethora of queries and just generally shield the team from day to day noise so they can deliver very important data suites to our teams.

In return for you being a super supportive human, you will be surrounded by data nerds that will impart their wisdom to you, and will enable you to be a future data nerd. You will learn heaps about statistical analysis through a commercial lens, you will upskill yourself in coding, and you will learn by doing. 

It is important to note, that this is the sort of role you bed yourself in for 12-18 months to really get to learn and appreciate what it takes to be a strong data analyst/scientist… but after that period of learning you will embark on an amazing career journey. 

Your main responsibilities (which is essentially where we get boring and list some of the things you will be doing, that are also likely to change as we scale):

  • Monitor the data pipeline and check for issues, resolving or escalating as appropriate
  • Act as first line support for data queries and dashboard guidance
  • Make changes to Looker dashboards and looks as requested
  • Set up new users on Looker and act as a gatekeeper for licences
  • Set up new data sources using Stitch
  • Support the Analytics Engineer and Data Analysts in their work

To be successful you will have (so please make sure it is on your CV):

  • A logical mindset
  • The desire for a career in one of the aspects of data analytics, this would be demonstrable through online course or attendance at events
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some coding experience as part of academia or in a workplace setting, this could be in Python, R or SQL
  • The ability to learn using online courses, you should be able to demonstrate that you have completed learning in your own time

This is a new opportunity to join the Experience Design team as an Associate Product Designer. You’ll develop attractive, modern and easy to use design for our game-changing platform. You will aim to ensure that all users have an outstanding experience and positive user journey throughout their time on our platform. 

Your designs will help to increase user engagement and further enhance users' experience of developing their cyber skills.

Working closely with our Director of Experience Design you’ll need to possess fundamental UI and digital design skills; have a passion for interaction design and an understanding of how to collaborate with others involved in the user-centred design process.

  • Produce new digital illustrations and simple animations creating clickable / tapable high fidelity prototypes

The opportunity

Due to our demand and our rapid growth we're now looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer with expertise in securing applications to join the content engineering team. The Content team creates the labs on our platform and are crucial to the success of the business. As an Application Security Engineer you will develop labs, games & challenges teaching all aspects of Application Security to improve the security posture of organisations globally. 

You will work closely with the wider cybersecurity and engineering teams to develop and deliver cutting edge labs focused on Application Security.

Your main responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities (the boring part where we bullet out key duties):

  • This is an early product, so you will be getting involved in the design of the whole product
  • Planning, writing and improving cloud security labs, challenges and online learning content on the Immersive Labs platform

You will ensure customers receive exceptional value from the Immersive Labs platform by understanding their needs and supporting their journey through workshops, and direct engagement

You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of satisfaction, driving adoption, expanding the use of Immersive Labs across customers’ organizations, and managing customer programs. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to successfully manage and resolve all issues affecting your customers. You will have great communication skills with the ability to work with customers ranging from security personnel through CISOs and other key stakeholders.

The Customer Success team works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Content, and Technical teams to deliver solutions that simultaneously delight the customer and provide a foundation for business growth. Customer Success is one of the key driving forces behind Immersive Labs rapid growth and we’re looking for highly energetic and proactive people to help maximize our net retention and unlock upsells/cross-sell opportunities. 

  

Your main responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for designated accounts, serving as an advocate for customer needs to drive success

Due to our rapid growth in North America we’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to work closely with our central region sales team in a technical pre sales capacity and help solve challenging problems for clients. You’ll help customers understand the technical parts of our award-winning platform, engaging with senior stakeholders and end users to support product demo's proof of concepts, events and hackathons. 

To be successful you’ll need to know cyber security or ethical hacking inside out and be passionate about customer success or pre-sales. 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Engage with sales teams and partner with customers to understand their needs, define requirements and demo the technical aspects of the platform
  • Meet with prospective customers, to understand their technical requirements 
  • Plan and manage product proof of concept efforts
  • Drive user adoption across a variety of use cases 
  • Help upskill new staff on the technical aspects of the platform and on cyber security in general
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce multi-format content utilising various teaching methods; written, exercises, questions and gamification.

To be successful:

  • Experience in ethical hacking/pen testing, cyber security or threat intelligence 
  • Demonstrated success in a pre-sales or customer-facing role 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel and clients.

The opportunity
The Delivery Lead role is something we have been crying out for within Immersive Labs for a little while now, so when we make this hire you will be very well received and very in demand! This is both exciting and challenging in equal measure.

This role will be instilling agility into teams making them work smarter and more efficiently within a safe space, with a view to them becoming more autonomous in the way they work as a team. We’re growing fast and need the very best Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our in-house People and Talent Team in our fast-growing Boston location. You will help scale business-critical go to market departments including Sales, Marketing and Customer Success as we rapidly build out our go-to-market teams across North America. 

You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to lead the US recruiting effort working closely with the global talent acquisition team. To be successful you will need to have expertise in hiring senior sales professionals at a technology company and have a passion for building a diverse organization. An ability to drive process and change would also be an advantage.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Directly sourcing and engaging future employees in a competitive market telling the Immersive Labs story.
  • Recruiting exceptional candidates to join Immersive Labs rapidly growing sales, marketing and customer success teams in the US.
  • Support with promoting Immersive Labs employer brand through attending industry and recruiting events.
  • Partner with the hiring manager community to develop and refine an interview process that enhances our assessment quality while optimising the candidate experience.
  • Conduct behavioural based phone and in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Writing creative advertising copy on digital and social media channels.

 

To be successful:

  • Expertise at hiring senior B2B Sales & Customer Success professionals in an inhouse role for a technology company
  • Passion for recruiting Go-To-Market roles in a fast-paced company which is rapidly changing
  • Experience using proactive sourcing techniques to identify and engage talented sales, marketing and customer success individuals 
  • Focused to help create an industry-leading and diverse culture through recruitment activities
  • Have great communication skills to influence different audiences
  • Be highly proactive, positive, enthusiastic and assertive 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal recruitment laws. In addition, knowledge of general employment laws is preferred.

This is a new opportunity to join the Talent Acquisition team in North America, you’ll join the in-house People and Talent Team and help scale business-critical departments including Sales, Marketing and Customer Success as we rapidly build out our go-to-market teams across North America.
